Linton Mollath Family Scholarships applications are available.

 

Two generous scholarships will be given to students from Quincy High School this spring.  Win $1,000 a year for up to four years through the Linton Mollath Family College Scholarship or a one-time $1,000 award to be used for vocational school or Junior College. The Linton Mollath Family Scholarships applications are available from the Community Foundation of Western Nevada or from the counselor’s office at Quincy High School.

 

Last spring three outstanding Quincy High seniors were given scholarships to attend University or Community College:

4 year scholarship to Melodie Bennet for Cal Poly San Luis Obispo

4 year scholarship to Grant Hendrick for California Lutheran

1 year scholarship to Zachary Clift for Butte College

Students will be chosen for their academic achievements, community service contributions, work experiences and education and life goals. For more information please contact Cherry Shipp, Secretary, Quincy High School or the Community Foundation of Western Nevada 775-333-5499.  Applications must be received at the Community Foundation office by 5 PM March 15, 2007.
