Trojan Top Ten

 Here it is! The Trojan Top Ten. This issue’s top ten list features Quincy High School favorites. There’s everything from Hip Hop to Country and Rock to Alternative pop. The Trojan Times will survey the top ten list. Each issue will highlight different top ten lists: Favorite T.V. show, video game, and even your favorite cereals. The Seasons

Autumn leaves bring winter snow,
Or so it seems to me.
Summer seems so far away,
And just a memory.

Summer kisses, summer games,
Summer sweet love in the dark.
The smell of you as I kiss your hair,
That solidly sure feeling in my heart.

Autumn comes between us now,
Or does it bring us together?
Thoughts of you still flood my mind,
And your words live on forever.

Every kiss is magic,
All perfect creations, never done.
Our hands were meant to clasp together,
Our hearts to beat as one.



A Sonnet

Raindrops hit the crisp earth
The cold wind blows us together
To seek warmth. Fall is near…
You look at me in a way you always do
Like you can see inside, all my thoughts of you
You know I would do anything
Anything at all
To keep your smile on your sweet face
And all your pain fades without a trace

Our fingers melt together
Connecting us as one
Solid, strong, endless—

Your lips brush my cheek
Telling me you love me
But unable to speak.

I pull you close to hide the tears
Not tears of sadness or fear—
Tears of joy, and thanking god
For sending me you
And making us one, not two…

The love I have for you is so powerful
It controls each breath I take
And every though in the morning when I wake.
You’re a part of me every minute of every day
No matter how far you are away

And on this special day
I wanted to say—
I love you so very much
And with just one kiss, one touch

I know you love me too,
I’ll always be here for you—
No matter if the skies are black, gray, or blue
I won’t ever stop loving you.
