Boys Varsity Soccer

Coach: Mr. Strailey

Ending stats: 9 wins; 4 losses; 4 ties

What is your team’s greatest strength?

Coach: It’s youth – the majority of our varsity team this year was freshman and sophomores.

High point of the season?

Coach: Beating Squaw Valley in the sectional quarter final 4-1. They had defeated us 1-0 for the league championship.

Most exciting moment?

Coach: Coming back from 0-2 in the Liberty Christian game. Four goals were scored in the last 10 minutes and the score ended 3-3.

gain?

Coach: I hope players learn the skills to enjoy soccer as a life-long sport and that they learn the values of hard work, sportsmanship, and team play.


 

Girls Varsity Soccer

Coach: Alan Morrison

Ending stats: 9 wins; 6 losses

High point of the season?

Coach: Beating Portola in our first playoff game. Tied in regulation and in 1st overtime. Won in a shoot-out 2-0.

Most exciting moment?

Coach: When Maria Boland was able to keep Portola from scoring a goal in a 5-shot shoot-out. She made several fantastic saves.
