“Dear Grandpa”
When someone close to you dies,
You automatically want to cry.
But today is not a time to morn,
Only for good cloths to be worn.
He would always wear a coat,
And tell childish and corny jokes.
In his life he had come a long way,
Done more things than most can say.
He loved to make people smile,
Even if it took a while.
I think of all the times he said no,
But I still didn’t want him to go.
You say you wouldn’t be you without him,
But that’s going out on a limb.
I could be everything without him,
But he taught me not to live on a whim.
He had a great life of 89 years,
We should put our hands together in our
tears.
We cried the day he passed away, His best
girl was Myrtle May.

“Shy Love”
Love is something you can’t explain. He may
be your friend or drive you insane. You are too shy to show your true love,
so you play it off like a little white dove. Everyone knows that you love
him so, but you’re too shy to let it go. Every day when I see him I want to
yell, “I love you and I’ll always be there”, but you’re too shy to tell him
that you really do care. Sooner or later I’ll tell him the truth: “I don’t
want to be just friends, I want to be your Boo.”
